Private Session - 1 hour - $80
A one-on-one private session is a place to be held and guided through a therapeutic art making experience. My background as a Therapeutic Art Facilitator, art teacher, graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and student of healing modalities forms the foundation for this practice. Each session is completely different and can be one or a combination of the following:
1. You bring a situation, a feeling, or an experience in the past or present that you want to process. You will be supported through self-inquiry as we move what’s stuck, or just below the surface. We focus on the felt experience and use art-making as a medium for somatic shifts. This method is based on the studies of Bessel Van Der Kolk MD’s The Body Keeps the Score, David Hawkins, PhD’s work Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender, and Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing. You may experience shifting feelings around shame, worthiness, freedom, and confidence. This does not replace traditional therapy, but may be a helpful supplement.
2. Creative play and exploration around a theme. We choose a theme together, or I choose a theme for us to work through. Starting with a prompt, we go down an open ended path. In this session you’ll explore your inner landscape and cocreate. This container is be held for creative expression and practice. You may rediscover play, pleasure, creativity, freedom, and rest.
Date Night - 1 hour - $100
